Simple Nutrient-dense Salads recipe : Get your Healthy dose of vitamins !

As summer is slowly approaching, our bodies needs its daily vitamin C overload but also because the weather gets warmer, we tend to eat less and so, salads are the best choices when it comes to loose weight and eat healthier.
If most of you usually bought your pre-made salads, it’s time to change the game.
Most of the time, I noticed that we don’t realize how simple cooking could be. We never become conscious that, as a matter of fact, cooking like a chef is within easy reach.

I swear you’ll be hooked by the colorful salads, delicious flavors and crispy textures of it. Plus, you know what you put inside (hey, we all know that when your order a McDonald’s salad; it is actually a bomb of calories)
Salads will never gets so delicious once you learnt to combine all different ingredients that are full of
nutrients.

Get ready to toss together ingredients listed below (choose the ones you like the most ;)) :
- Salad base (spinach/ leafy greens/ red chard. etc)
- Avocado (it helps you burn belly fat but don’t add too much of it. Just 1/2 and you’ll get all the nutrient and benefits of eating avocados ;))
- Mushrooms (for your healthy dose of protein)
- Tomatoes (for a glowing skin)
- Carrots (before summer, it prepares your skin to tan !)
- Red peppers (when making salads, never forget your dose of « red » vegetables, these are the best for a nice skin tone and they’re full of vitamin C, efficient against flus)
- Beets (contains health-boosting nutrients and great to lower your blood pressure)
- Seeds (chia seed, flax seed, pumpkin seeds etc. great source of fibre, protein and antioxidant)
- Nuts (almonds are an energy boost and keeps you filling !, pistachios are rich in B12 vitamin and iron, same goes for cashew nut)
- You can also add quinoa (sooo delish :9)
- Berries (among them, blueberries are the best, vitamin C- dense and plus, they’re low in calories)
- Other fruits (add pineapple, granny apples : work on your imagination)

Dressings :
- Simple dressing : Olive oil + salt + pepper + honey + lime (I usually put 2 tbsp of olive oil/ 2 pinch of salt/ 3 pinch of pepper + 1 tsp of honey and a squeeze of lime juice but you gotta taste it to make your own)
- Asian dressing : sesame oil + olive oil + lime juice + salt + pepper + chili powder + honey

We're done ! Bon appétit !!
